As a civil engineering and roads consultant, you are a management consultant and sparring partner at the operational and tactical level, and involved from A to Z in projects in public space. In this role, you will work on the management and replacement of roads in our public spaces. You will have the opportunity to translate your love of the profession into innovation. You will work in the department Leefomgeving (about 100 employees). In this department, colleagues work with partners and residents to manage and improve public space in Amersfoort. You will work with your colleagues from the civil engineering team and the area managers of the Municipality of Amersfoort. The atmosphere in the department is involved and informal.
The roads consultant position is a versatile position in which you will be involved in all facets of management. You will think about the right time for maintenance, determine whether the approach should be large or small-scale. You will make considerations in the areas of finance, sustainability and feasibility. In addition, as initiator of projects you and your colleagues have a direct influence on what the project will achieve. out there happens.
