The labor market has been shrinking for years, while on the other hand, projects are becoming much more complex. Digitalization is essential to meet these challenges. ARKANCE can help you with the right methodology and workflows tailored to the Dutch infrastructure. At InfraTech 2025 they will demonstrate how to make software like InfraCAD and Drill Control work for your company. And that requires more than just installing the software.
ARKANCE is an Autodesk partner and provides software for digitizing a wide variety of processes. "We go very far in this," Annelies Hartman assures us, business consultant at ARKANCE. "Moreover, we believe that the combination between people, process and technology must be in harmony with each other. Anyone can learn software, but it's also about paying attention to the human side of digitization. That's where we provide our added value, creating support, where we actively involve the people who are going to work with our software at an early stage and include them in the change."
In every digitization project, ARKANCE uses a standard approach. "We first visualize the existing processes. On that basis, we look at what optimizations are needed to achieve an optimal workflow and how our software can help with that," Annelies explains. "Of course, this also involves the necessary training and guidance. Involving users of the software at an early stage also helps us make an accurate assessment of what type of training and guidance is needed, so that they ultimately get the most out of the software."
InfraCAD is the standard in CAD software for the infrastructure sector. "As the market leader and authority on drawing, we offer solutions that streamline processes and take projects to the next level," Annelies points out. "InfraCAD helps create drawings quickly and intuitively according to the NLCS, and thanks to a built-in check and restore function, you know you're always speaking the same language. That makes collaboration and flow through the whole process a lot more efficient. At InfraTech 2025, my colleague Han Loermans will give a demonstration with InfraCAD in the software area in Hall 6 on Friday, January 17. Don't miss this opportunity to see the drawing software live in action and discover interesting tips and tricks."
Another popular software application from ARKANCE for the infrastructure sector is Drill Control which is used for controlled drilling techniques. "Based on just a few parameters and construction points, the software calculates the optimal vertical as well as horizontal steering and the drill line is generated automatically, without touching any other objects," explains Annelies. "The software takes virtually all manual actions out of your hands and saves up to 90% in time when preparing and modifying your design." And when the design is final, you provide the bore with a complete dimensional grid with a single mouse click. This completes the design drawing and can be used for permit applications, construction or commercial operations.
Make software work for you is therefore ARKANCE's central theme at InfraTech 2025. At stand 1.002 you will learn all about the applications InfraCAD and Drill Control, while at stand 6.005 you will be informed about ARKANCE's many other software applications that help you work smarter, faster and with confidence on tomorrow's challenges, such as Construction IQ, InfoDrainage and all Be.Smart solutions.
