We have over 35 years of experience in manufacturing, developing and designing innovative and durable geosynthetic structures. During that time, our geogrids, geotextiles and systems have been carefully but also extensively tested by national governments, leading universities and independent laboratories. Based on these thorough studies, not just laboratory tests, Tensar guarantees and proves the performance of its solutions. After all, what matters is the longevity of a structure and not product features that contribute little or nothing to it.
Our high-performance solutions have been used in countless civil engineering projects around the world (ranging from roads, runways, earth tracks, crane sidings, railroads, ports, homes, rodent protection, reinforcement by grass reinforcement, retail and commercial developments) to applications in mining and erosion prevention in hydraulic engineering. These include foundation stabilization with TriAx®, which improves the load capacity and service life of foundation structures in paved and unpaved roads or sidings. But also consider the design and construction of crane emplacements with TensarTech Stratum®, retaining walls or steep embankments with different slope angles and asphalt layers, which need to be reinforced and/or provided with stress-spreading, for longer service life.
Tensar Technology aims to help you save (construction) time, reduce construction costs and achieve significant environmental benefits with simple solutions to complex structural problems. With our experienced design engineers, we provide designs in accordance with current (international) guidelines and methods. These guidelines make it possible to calculate reliable constructions and ensure clients' expectations. To this end, Tensar has a so-called Professional Indemnity, or design insurance, for almost all geotechnical designs. Normally we first make a free advice/application proposal based on the current guidelines to check what a final construction would look like. In this way we relieve our clients and tender teams, in part due to our practical knowledge and experience, as a partner within the design process.
