AgriPER

The story of AgriPER and the MSS40 begins in 2019, as a brainstorm of three businessmen friends. Hans Reijnen, grower of cut shrubs, notes that due to the changing climate, he is sprinkling more and more and spending capitals on diesel. Sander Penners, an architect by profession, suggests using solar energy for this purpose.

That seems impossible because a professional pump requires 40 solar panels, but the entrepreneurs see a challenge. The third in the company, mechanical engineer Erwann van Eyk, sketches on the back of a beer mat a folding construction on a trailer. The idea for the MSS40 is born.
In the 12 months that follow, the men develop their initial sketch into a functioning prototype.

The collapsible mobile solar generator is being extensively tested at Hans' cutting shrub farm in Horssen, in the land of Maas and Waal.
Energy production and operational reliability prove good. The unfolded solar panels in the field combined with the quiet electric pump stand out. The grower receives positive feedback from the surrounding area.
The three entrepreneurs decide to put their invention into production. Under the company name AgriPER, they want to provide agricultural entrepreneurs with flexible solar energy in the field.

Mobile, surface-mountable solar generator MSS48-25

The MSS48-25 is the world's first mobile folding solar generator. MSS stands for mobile sunpower station. 48 is the number of panels. The system has a peak power output of 25kW per hour. That is enough to power a 20kW electric sprinkler pump. Even if the sun disappears behind the clouds for a while, MSS48-25 continues to supply. Lithium batteries with an output of 50kW ensure continuity.

The solar panels form a hinged deck, which is hydraulically operated. The assembly is mounted on a robust double-axle trailer. In the transport position, the structure is collapsed. You then have a folding trailer 4 meters high and 2.5 meters wide and 9 meters long. For use, you unfold the screen with the push of a button in 3 minutes. The hydraulically driven structure folds itself open and turns to face the light. During the day, the deck automatically follows the sun for maximum light output.
