The World Of Concrete Europe, to be held simultaneously with INTERMAT in Paris from April 24 to 27, 2024, brings together the entire concrete sector in a trade fair and congress. As a showcase for a sector that aims to build better in the future and reduce C0-2 emissions, this event is an unmissable opportunity to experience the innovation and dynamism of the concrete sector.
The combination of a trade fair and an educational forum will enable visitors to discover a wide and varied range of products at every stage of the chain, and to get a complete overview of the latest innovations in the European concrete market of products, technologies, processes, applications and equipment.
The World Of Concrete Europe, integrated into the international construction equipment trade fair Intermat, is expected to bring together 200 exhibitors, 2,000 visitors and 500 conference attendees. All major players in the European concrete sector will be present at this benchmark event to create a platform for dialogue and paint the picture of a universal, versatile and innovative material undergoing ecological transformation.
Several major companies have already confirmed their presence, including: 3R SCHNELL, AMOG SLR, BETONSTAR-HANSA, BLEND PLANTS, BONNEUX MACHINERY, BOSCH BÉTON FRANCE, CIFA, EUROMECC, EUROMIX MTP, EUROP'EQUIPEMENT, HANSA, IMER FRANCE, KRAFT CURING SYSTEMS, MAPEI, PL2M, PUTZMEISTER, SCHWING STETTER, SELF-CONCRETE, SOMERO ENTERPRISES, TEKA FRANCE
Here, the entire concrete industry will be represented around a comprehensive offering from production to applications:
Around the central theme of "low carbon," the World Of Concrete Europe forum will present a series of educational lectures and training workshops entirely devoted to the concrete sector, the material itself and its various applications.
The forum is organized by a steering committee composed of experts from the main industry associations and bodies such as CERIB, CIMbéton, FIB, l'École Française du Béton, France Ciment and UMGO-FFB.
The sessions are organized by well-known figures from the construction, masonry and civil engineering community, members of construction federations and from the largest European companies in the sector.
Using a dozen or so lectures, six themes focusing on the future of materials in the market were selected for thought and debate:
The ninth edition of the INTERMAT International Innovation Awards will recognize equipment, technology, services or products that contribute to driving progress in the construction, infrastructure and materials industries in five categories corresponding to each of the fair's five centers of excellence, including the Construction, Civil Engineering and Concrete category. In addition, a special World of Concrete Europe award are awarded to reward a company that offers an innovation specific to the concrete market.
Christophe Lecarpentier, director of the Agro Equipment and Construction business unit at Comexposium:
"Whether in new construction, renovation, public works or civil engineering, the concrete sector plays a leading role in sustainable construction and the design of public spaces, and in overcoming the many challenges set out in the National Low Carbon Strategy. The 2024 edition of the World of Concrete Europe aspires to bring together all the key players who are innovating on all fronts to reduce the ecological footprint of construction. To discuss this and generate future-oriented insights, emphasis will be placed on an educational program of lectures and workshops designed by a steering committee composed of leading industry experts. We aim not only to provide an exhibition, but also to put into perspective the purposes for which concrete production and applications are intended, and to establish a unique platform for dialogue around a common sustainable environmental vision."
