Rammer's demolition hammers can be monitored remotely

The hammers feature longitudinal connections on both the top and the back of the hammer, making it more versatile than similar models from other brands. The chisels can be changed without tools and the hammer is equipped with a chisel bushing complete with impact sleeve in one. "This makes maintenance even easier than before," Wassink knows. 

The hammers can also be modularized with a fully protected lubrication system, additional wear protection and with Ramdata®, also retrofitable. The latter means that the hydraulic hammers in the Excellence Line are equipped with a sensor with which the performance, as well as the consumption and maintenance of the hammers can be viewed anywhere in the world. The so-called RD3 system can also be retrofitted to any Rammer hammer built after 2009. Wassink: "This makes Rammer the first equipment manufacturer to equip the tool with external data access as standard."

Interesting price

RD3 transmits all this data to the cloud. When a hammer is in operation, the system collects data on its position, location, movement patterns, tilt, temperature and usage (i.e. hours of operation) and sends it back to a central location. Wassink: "In addition, the hammer is equipped with a disengageable dead blow protection, this to far extend the life of the hammer and chisel, but also to be switched off if necessary. All this together with the best service and also a very interesting pricing makes Rammer the Best of the Best."

Should it happen - despite remote monitoring - that a customer breaks a chisel or a machine comes to a standstill, ACDE guarantees that a technician will come by 24/7. "Whether someone has a broken chisel at 9 p.m. on a Saturday night or a machine that stops working, with one phone call we make sure everything is done to get everything running again as smoothly as possible."
