L95: new compact wheel loader from Bobcat

5.4-ton articulated loader couples great power with good stability

With the introduction of the new L95 compact wheel loader, Bobcat's range of loaders is taking shape. In addition to the familiar skid-steer loaders and two smaller articulated loaders, which came to market in 2021, the program now includes three compact wheel loaders: the L75, the L85 and the L95. With an increasing engine power of 41 kW for the L75 and 50.7 kW for the L85, the L95 is the heaviest version at 55.2 kW, which is also suitable for many construction jobs due to the extensive range of Bobcat attachments.

Bobcat's new L95 guarantees optimum stability, plenty of lifting capacity and excellent breakout, push and pull forces.

Thanks to the powerful Bobcat 75-hp engine and a powerful hydraulic system, the L95 delivers excellent performance. The machine has great stability, plenty of lifting capacity and excellent breakout, push and pull forces. The operator can shift the L95 from first to second gear at idle, in which the machine reaches a top speed of 40 mph. This increases the machine's range on the job site and improves productivity. The updated automatic ride control system protects the operator from shocks on uneven terrain, and the cab meets FOPS Level II.

Automatic parking brake

The L95 is equipped with Bobcat's Flex Drive, which has an automatic idling function and many additional safety features. It is also equipped with parking brake and incline assist, so the L95's parking brake is automatically engaged and disengaged when needed. In addition to the automatic parking brake, the L95 has several other new features that improve ease of use. For example, the joystick is integrated into the backrest of the suspension seat, allowing the operator to work comfortably under all conditions. The reaction time for forward/reverse driving in conjunction with the lift and tilt function has also been improved.

The L95 was designed and built with great attention to detail, taking Bobcat's range of articulated loaders to an even higher level.

Intuitive operation

The operation of the L95 is simple and intuitive. As a result, even fairly inexperienced operators can quickly get to work with the machine. The controls are grouped near and around the operator. Controls for differential lock, hare/turtle mode, boom float position and flow control for the auxiliary hydraulics are all within easy reach, on top of the joystick. The jog shuttle allows the operator to navigate through and confirm the L95's settings on the 5-inch LED display. He can also switch to the rearview camera image. All screens for important information and loader settings are managed with the jog shuttle.

First-class comfort

A major plus point of the Bobcat compact wheel loaders is the spacious, comfortable cab. Thanks to a fully adjustable and heated deluxe seat, the HVAC system and the bi-directional adjustable steering column, working in the machine is pleasant, even during long working days. A full glass door, the low hood and powerful LED lighting provide excellent visibility of the surroundings. The operator also has access to a DAB+ radio and a hands-free telephone function.

Attachments

The L95 comes standard with the new and improved Power Quick-Tach system, which is compatible with all commonly used hitch systems. The Power Quick-Tach has been modified to simplify the connection of hydraulic couplings and better protect them, especially when changing attachments. It also features the latest version of the Bob-Tach adapter for installation of approved Bobcat attachments, such as buckets, light equipment buckets, combo buckets, pallet forks, roller brooms and snowblowers. The Power Bob-Tach system is available as an option.

For working with high-flow attachments, such as snowblowers and roller brooms, the L95 can be equipped with a high-flow option, providing a hydraulic flow rate of 100 l/min. For even better performance of high-flow attachments, Bobcat has increased the pressure from 200 to 225 bar.

Operation of attachments

Another feature of the L95 is the advanced attachment control system. This revolutionary system allows the operator to switch to an alternative control pattern for the machine at the touch of a button. This allows independent control of the engine speed, maximum auxiliary hydraulic flow and travel speed of the machine. Thanks to the 7-pin connector, the operator can effectively control even the most complicated attachments.

In the L95, based on customer feedback relative to the L75 and L85, several changes have been made and new features added. These modifications will also be implemented in the L75 and L85, which will be delivered starting in 2024. The compact wheel loaders are produced on a new production line at the Bobcat plant in the Czech Republic, with a capacity of 1,000 machines per year.
