INTERMAT 2024 - Discover CO2 neutral innovation

Discover CO2 neutral innovation: industry leaders show their innovative solutions and technologies!

The next edition of INTERMAT, the trade fair for sustainable building solutions and technology, will take place from April 24 to 27, 2024 in Paris. The largest international manufacturers in the field are already choosing this event to present their innovative approaches, which have gained momentum since the last edition in 2018 to meet the challenges of the transition to "net zero. The 2024 edition will be the platform for these companies and for the entire construction sector, which will be mobilized and united to meet these challenges as part of France's national Low Carbon Strategy for 2050.

So far, and since the roundtable held April 20 with the entire construction industry, new leading names have confirmed their presence at the show, including Ausa, EPIROC, Faymonville, Liebherr, Magni and Volvo. They join the registered exhibitors whose participation had been previously announced: Alphi, Bobcat, Cummins, Imer, Komatsu, Groupe Monnoyeur, Putzmeister, Sany, Sateco, Schwing Stetter, Sunward, Takeuchi, Topcon, Wacker Neuson.

Three of the leading exhibiting companies explain their motivation for participating in the show, which, after a six-year absence, is a valuable opportunity to re-establish constructive relationships with all construction and site professionals in search of new low carbon solutions, equipment and technology.

Davy Guillemard, CEO of Volvo Construction: "INTERMAT 2024 has reinvented itself to address the challenges of decarbonizing the construction industry, adapting to environmental demands and making progress towards sustainability. Because these objectives are particularly close to the fundamental values and ambitions of the Volvo Group, which is determined to be a proactive leader in change and accelerate the low-carbon path, we have chosen to invite our customers and partners to meet us at INTERMAT 2024 to present them with all our low-carbon solutions."

François Escourrou, CEO of Wacker Neuson: "Our group is looking forward with great interest to the next INTERMAT show with the theme 'low carbon' and has set a goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 50% in 2025 compared to 2019. To achieve this, we have chosen to convert our machines to electricenergy to support our customers in their CSR policies. We will therefore introduce many new products at INTERMAT in 2024 in the area of equipment, with around 40 new machines in the electrical range, but also in the area of associated services and digitalization."

Olivier Saint-Paul, CEO of PL2M: "At PL2M, market leader in finishing and finishing machines, we look forward to participating in the next INTERMAT 2024 and making our contribution to the zero carbon transition in the construction industry. The event provides an opportunity to introduce new solutions that are resolutely focused on the future, complementing our range of finishing machines, liquid screed pumps and traditional screed conveyors. Our Putzmeister, Lancy and Brinkmann brands will be on display at our booth with a host of innovations for ever higher performance and safety on construction sites, and less impact on the environment."

INTERMAT 2024: an edition redesigned around the four great challenges of construction

The 2024 edition aims to bring the entire construction industry together around a shared vision of the future, leveraging its collective excellence to address the industry's key issues of decarbonization and energy, digitalization, CSR engagement, training and employment, and organizing a platform for dialogue with government. To do this, it will rely on four main pillars that provide highlights and developments on the four key challenges facing construction.

Achieve Net Zero to contribute to the protection of the planet

A new format of the trade show in terms of offerings and layout (4 days instead of 6);

An adapted design of the fair based on sustainable and circular practices, with responsible products and services; An event that offers physical and social access to the widest possible audience.

An exhibitor offering around five areas of expertise

  • Earthmoving, Demolition and Transportation,
