For more than 40 years, the name STDS-Jantz has stood for the development and manufacture of a diverse and high-quality range of drilling equipment. Primarily for the foundation market, but also for geothermal applications and horizontal drilling, among others. "Looking toward the future, we are going to further expand this program in the near future," says Marnik Janssens, who heads the STDS-Jantz sales office for the Benelux from Ternat, Belgium. In addition to welcoming sales support and an extensive standard program of auger drills, hydraulic drill motors, pile drivers and turnout components, STDS-Jantz also serves its customers from Ternat with a wide range of wear parts from Betek. The brand is among the leading manufacturers of tungsten carbide tools, tool systems and wear protection solutions, among others. High-quality components that can be used for a variety of purposes. "Of particular interest to the Dutch market are Betek's tungsten carbide welding teeth and welding tooth holders," explains Marnik. "We also supply these specific products from stock, in various sizes and types. Furthermore, you can come to us for Betek's tungstuds. These can be quickly and easily welded onto a steel substrate as a wear protection with a special machine and associated gun." 

Coveted drill bits

Another product that is in great demand within our borders is STDS-Jantz drill bits. Rock solid and multifunctional tools that prove their worth during well drilling and soil drilling operations that precede the installation of a water pump, among other things. "Our drilling chisels are available with or without threaded connections," Marnik continued. "Currently there is particular demand for the three-wing chisels, carbide variants that are frequently used around the execution of water drilling and the realization of foundation works. In this type of chisel, the wings are connected with a spot weld, making it very easy to start welding them around a drill rod. For water drilling, the wings can even be optionally made longer. This allows you to choose the desired flush opening during welding, depending on the surface to be drilled through. A nice extra that we can combine as desired with a welcome support in practice."
